What Is Going On?
ArtPrize 2011 is over and ArtPrize 2012 is in process. Although I am excited about ArtPrize, I will not be part of it this year so I can spend more time on other shows. If you have seen my metal prints, they are a little different than anything I have done in the past. I have two styles of metal print that I am working with this year, 1) the prints an bare metal I started with last year and 2) a version with a white undercoating that brings out all of the detial you would want in some kind of prints. Both of these are impressive for their own style of picture.
Metal Prints
I was in ArtPrize in 2011 specifically because I wanted to re-focus what I was doing. What I was doing was too much "like the rest" and required a person to spend $150 to frame a picture they bought from me for $75. I liked what I was doing, and will continue with that, but I also wanted something new. Metal prints have fit the bill. I love them. They are a little different, and they make it so a person can walk out the door with something to hang right on the wall (either without a frame at all, or with the frame I make).
